Pre-employability project - new waters for Profound

 

Profound have been selected by two high profile business to deliver pre-employability training to potential employees and are offering a free recruitment service to ensure unemployed candidates secure work following training. The project is proving to be extremely popular and is being well received within the local labour market.

Business Development Executive, David McMillan commented, “we now have a very good referral process in place with Job Centre Plus, Prime Contractors for the governments Work Programme and Employers. We are very confident that we will equip unemployed candidates with the skills required for the vacant positions we have. Our training and development programmes will also considerably improve retention levels for the employer”.

Popular courses are Pre-employability, Retail, Sales/Telesales and Customer Service and are run in conjunction with Employers, Job Centre Plus and the Skills Funding Agency.
