Profound have been given the green light to deliver a range of courses in Scotland - backed by the Local Authorities. following months of negotiating. Profound now have an ILA funding contract and SQA accreditation.

Profound in partnership with SAFC Foundation
Profound have agreed to partner with SAFC Foundation in the delivery of their Back in the Game Programme. Following months of negotiating, Profound have agreed to finance the project, having previously been funded by DWP and the Premier League. The course includes pre-employability training, family learning sessions and recruitment - people into work. Delivery will be at two sites, Sunderland Stadium of Light, and The Learning Centre of Light based at Caterpillar, Peterlee.

Pre-employability project - new waters for Profound
Profound has been selected by two high profile businesses to deliver pre-employability training to potential employees and are offering a free recruitment service to ensure unemployed candidates secure work following training. The project is proving to be extremely popular and is being well received within the local labour market.

Challenging but rewarding end of year!
Like all colleges and private providers, June and July proved very challenging to Profound. End of year with profiles to meet, so what did it look like to Profound? A huge success, with over 350 apprenticeships starts in two months. Eighteen months ago, Profound provided one core qualification, now we have over 25 courses within our training portfolio, this outside our popular pre-employment programmes. Starts for apprentices included: Customer Service, Property & Letting, Spectator Safety, Business Admin, BIT and Leadership & Management. Well done to all for fulfilling contract for 10/11.
